I guess the lesson is that when you're being held, you're not allowed to fight your way out of it or you get the penalty.

The officiating has been pretty atrocious in conference games today. Why am I not surprised?

The first ISU qb has sucked. Replaced, I think after 1st Q Mellott has looked pretty good. Throwing okay or better. Had a couple nice runs. O-line protecting him on passes. Cat D has pretty much shut down ISU. ISU had 8 yards in first Q. 10-0. 4 minutes into the 2d Q.
