Two-Deep vs EWU

Has that been standard for the QB position on these two-deeps to list Logan Fife first and Keli'i Ah Yat second ? ( And yes, I saw the "or" between their names, and is that standard ? )

Sorry, my eyes aren't that great, and I haven't been reading the " two deeps" for that reason. Even after magnifying the print, I have to put the phone so that it is touching my face to try to read these--I guess I am like the ancient cartoon character Mr. Magoo !!!

We have all been hearing rumors about Keli'i Ah Yat being hurt, but we never really know who's hurt on our team until the starting lineups are announced and even two weeks ago vs. Morehead State, I think Ryder Meyer's name was announced as starting at safety and his picture appeared on our big screen in the SEZ, but I don't think that he even played one snap due to an injury.

No change for the QB’s

Like you I have difficulties reading the 2 deep.

Do we know for sure that Wilson is not eligible for the 1st half against EWU? I believe we asked the Big Sky Conference to review his hit as not targeting.

Watch for ewu to throw at Jackson...all day long...

Hope he shuts it down quickly!
I am sure they will find ways to get him on Chism. I did see them roll some coverages in the second half to give him some safety support. I’m sure we will have a game plan for them. We will see if Best and Company come up with a better one. He will definitely be coaching for his livelihood.

Two topics: the Riley Wilson targeting appeal isn’t decided at the conference level. Anytime a team and conference decide to submit an appeal of that penalty (primarily whether or not the first half suspension stands) it is a request to the NCAA National coordinator of officials.

In terms of the two deep for EWU…..starting TJ Rausch instead of Rostad is both scary and short sided. Rausch is a liability on the field in terms of play recognition, field awareness and solid effort.

Good clarification. I believe the request from the coach goes to the conference who then submits it for review.

“The process will begin with a conference submitting a request to the NCAA national coordinator of officials, who would review video of the play. If it is obvious that a player was incorrectly penalized for targeting, the call would be overturned, and the player would be cleared to play in the first half of the next game.”

The dude makes plays and does whatever he is asked. He is a team first guy and deserves the reps. His blocking is by far and away the best out of any of the WRs. Big body with soft hands. Hopefully can show WA, his home state, what he is all about on Friday.
what this dude said. i would have played racanelli over fontes last year as well. i think fontes is a great athlete and an asset, but racanelli is a better blocker and has better hands, imo.
