Not my guess (because this pole is usually a joke) but how I'd vote:
1. Sdsu
2. Idaho
3. ND
4. Ndsu
5. Montana
6. Msu
No one else close.

How I would vote but definitely not how it will actually be. Too many of the voters only look at W/L'sNot my guess (because this pole is usually a joke) but how I'd vote:

And 2 of those are D2 wins!I love that Cat SOS so far. Their 3 opponents are 3-13 so far.
You mean the team that plays better, error-free football usually wins? Fascinating. You bring unparalleled perspective.Did you watch the game last weekend? If acu doesn’t turn it over 2 times late then Idaho 100% would’ve lost.
I never liked going off SOS as I have been fooled before with it, however, there is no doubting we have had it easy. Is our SOS based on the entire season or only until this point. With Idaho, Sac, you guys and maybe UC Davis (although they have not been that impressive) I can’t imagine our SOS being so low, but I’ll definitely believe it as well if Utah Tech, Maine, Mercyhurst and some of the Big Sky bottom dwellers are such low outliers that they can drag it down so farWe blew away our weak opponent last week 52-2, and somehow dropped a spot. The cats didn’t beat a lower ranked team (One of the worst in all of FCS) as badly as we did ours, but will probably stay put or move up? Make it make sense. Their SOS is one of the worst in all of FCS as well.
'Can' and did. You have listed the teams that may very well provide the scats with four losses. Throw in an upset at Holt this weekend, and what have you got?I never liked going off SOS as I have been fooled before with it, however, there is no doubting we have had it easy. Weren’t you bragging about how awesome the bubs sack numbers were last year? And using that one stat to prop up their D? Without sacks this year, sounds like your D took a big step back. If they aren’t getting sacks against crappy teams, they must really suck.Watch Brody Grebe’s interview after Maine as he references the lack of sacks. The 2s and 3s played poorly against Maine
Huh? Are you saying the bub O is so undisciplined that it is prone to giving up big play TDs even to horrible competition? Wet palms? Not a good sign and will cost the bubz a W against good teams. The cats defense has allowed less points than the offense

Good post, but just correcting your comments about the Cats reverting to run game at the end of the NM game. Those last couple drives (Other than Adam Jones springing the 93 yard TD run), were a great mix of run and pass. Tommy made several excellent, clutch throws in those drives to come back and win the game. The cats offensive line is missing their best player and they’ve been playing guys out of their usual positions to get the best guys on the field. Their offense looks legit, and Tommy has made more use of his arm, but when the chips were down against New Mexico and even in the Utah Tech game they reverted back to pounding the ball on the ground. Can they pass when necessary against a good defense or if their back is against the wall?
Their defense hasn’t been able to force pressure in the passing game and though they were lights out against Utah tech into the 4th quarter they haven’t been challenged much yet to know what they have. After watching the Maine game, there is a clear drop off in talent down their depth chart.
Idahos defense has been winning them games, and it’s been impressive despite being down to a young backup QB. They nearly squirreled the game away yesterday to ACU. I believe the defensive line of Idaho has the horses to make that an interesting matchup. I agree it is a really hard place to go in and get a win now. I believe Eck and his players have the right attitude to do it. The cats will want retribution for last year so could see them pouncing early.
THANK YOU! I am working off of my cel phone. I am not internet literate, so I don't know how-in-the-hell to cut and paste it. Thanks again!![]()

Should have waited for my browser to update. Sorry Mick.
Griz lost to a lesser opponent plus we have an FBS win. It’s pretty obvious why the Griz are ranked where they are.We blew away our weak opponent last week 52-2, and somehow dropped a spot. Kind of misleading. Although the Cats don't have many sacks yet this year they been getting good pressure on the QB. Against Mercyhurst, yes a weak team, they only allowed 20 rushing yds and that is with the 2nd and 3rd team playing the whole second half. I think the jury is still out on this Cat's team with the weak schedule so far. Starting this coming week the schedule starts getting a lot tougher. The Cats do have good depth and have been able to get the young players some good experience early on. As they get players back from injuries they will get stronger. The OL even with injuries has been lights out. Going to be an interesting year in the the BSC.Weren’t you bragging about how awesome the bubs sack numbers were last year? Also, when a bub admits the backups are not actually better than the starters, and played poor against poor competition, it’s time to hit the panic button. Those backups must really suck.

Cats could have put up 100 points on either of those lower ranked squads. Both games MSU had 2nd / 3rd string in by half.
UM could put up 100 points on Rocky Mountain College pretty easily. But it’s a moot point.Griz lost to a lesser opponent plus we have an FBS win. It’s pretty obvious why the Griz are ranked where they are.

Griz lost on road to ND, which is ranked no. 9. Griz lost to a very good opponent in a very good conference.Griz lost to a lesser opponent plus we have an FBS win. It’s pretty obvious why the Griz are ranked where they are.

By lesser opponent I meant not a top 4 team. I consider the Griz a top 4 team and better overall that UND despite the game outcome.UM could put up 100 points on Rocky Mountain College pretty easily. But it’s a moot point.
And this “lesser opponent” beat NDSU by four scores in the Alerus Center last year and is in the running for an MVFC title this year.
