Good:
- coming back strong from a 17-0 deficit, out scoring them 46-18 after being down that score
- holding their offense in the 2nd half to 170 total yards
- Ah Yat scoring 4 TDs and making some big plays with his arm and feet
- Fife coming in and making some huge plays/throws to seal the victory….he was like MLB closer coming end to seal it
- Eli going for 175 and averaging 12.5 per carry….he’s the best RB in the league and one of the top in the FCS
- great to see Bergen with 8 catches and 99 yards
- Racanelli had some big catches and made some big plays on special teams
- Hayden Harris continues his dominance with 2 more sacks
- Otlewsi continuing to play great for a freshman, had another sack and disrupted a number of plays. He’s gonna be a great one
- Riley Wilson played great, made some big plays on D, and will be missed for the first half next Saturday
- good adjustment to not let them pick the middle of the field apart on the dig routes after they were so successful in the first quarter doing it
- Ostmo went beast mode in the last couple series

Bad:
- we continue to give up too many 3rd and longs, nothing worse than the TD on 3rd and 15
- too many flags on both teams, 12 and 11 and over 200 yards of penalties

Ugly:
- Ah Yat missing a wide open Barker in the end zone on a great play call….he made up for it the next play with a TD

Feel free to add!

Very accurate and succinct summary. I love your G,B,U threads. Thx.

My list is very random but here it is...

Good:
- Every day in WaGriz is a good day.
- We won.
- The stripe the stadium worked well even if some people didn't seem to get the memo or were being oppositionally defiant.
- Monte's celebration ceremony was pretty fun and it was cool to see all the former Montes.
- I somehow still have a voice today even after yelling my lungs out the entire game.
- Bobby seemingly offering his glasses to the ref after they missed the blatant offsides by WCU. It was funny and got his point across but not over the line.

Bad:
- My heart can't take being down 17-0 at home. I was worried our goose was cooked and we were going to want to leave by halftime.
- Concessions gave me a defective cup and I spilled Coke zero all over my hoodie.
- Trying to fill water bottles out of a water fountain that's half broken in order to get back before the second half kickoff. UM needs to install water bottle filling stations like they have at the airport. But of course they won't because then they couldn't sell ridiculously overpriced water in aluminum bottles.

Ugly:
- The WCU coach ranting and raving at the official while following him around and continuing to get in his face even when he tried to walk away. Say what you will about Bobby (who everyone knows can be feisty) but thankfully he understands boundaries and doesn't push it that far.

Bad
T Rostad over pursuing on two TD saving tackles was tough to watch. The kid is playing hard, and doing his best to fill in for Meyer, but he needs to clean that up. Good news, Meyer was dressed out.

We need help at corner. It looks like the staff is going to burn Loud’s RS and hope he can push Jackson. I was hoping for more out of Ford/Lawler

We need help at interior DL. Pat Hayden is doing his thing, but there is quite a bit of regression when Ramos comes in. Hopefully he can continue to improve because our next option is Jake Mason (currently undersized but playing well on ST)

Gradney’s Dropped INT

Missed FG

Failed 4th & 1 on the first drive of the 3rd qtr

A couple false starts on the OL

Good
OL is coming together. They are starting to move like a succinct unit. Still lots to clean up, but fewer communication errors.

Hustedt is back and playing with his hair on fire

Going for it on 4th & 4 to seal the game. People cry about “Bobby ball” that was aggressive and he twisted the knife

By far one of the best things I’ve ever seen a coach do to a ref without drawing a flag. Probably would have gotten flagged in conference play. Pretty tame compared to Bell’s antics on the opposing sideline. If the folks at home could have seen half of what he did, and not just the few snippets in the broadcast or Marty’s half-drunken take they would have understood all the crowd booing. Their defensive coordinator was about as bad flailing on the sideline after every failed tackle or completion.

Also the intentional feigning of an injury to slow down our momentum when we have that goal to go on the 1. We have a smart crowd and we will cheer happily when an opposing player gets up and isn’t seriously injured putting it all on the line, but nothing brings out the ire of the fan base more than that crap.

Ugly- whoever was operating the sound system and video screen. Numerous times the music started just as the timeout was ending and the Referee actually had the players hold up after a timeout because the screen operator started the gopher-groundhog-rodent or whatever it is sing along.
There is clock on the field showing length and time left on a tv break, can the operator not see that??
Also why are there not replays of controversial and penalty plays?
They are shown at every big college stadium, time to start here. So what if it gets the crowd riled up, it's part of the game.

Agreed. FARRRR too much canned music and it played farrrrr too long. It should stop 15 seconds before a play. There were times it stopped milliseconds before.

The no replay rule is a bsc thing (#bsc). They know how shitty their officials are but they don't want to show their awfulness to fans, afraid they'll get too riled up. But the thing is, when they don't show us, we just believe they got it wrong anyhow.

It's a ridiculous rule, and one that needed to be changed decades ago. But, since this is the bsc (#bsc).....

Good- Sat next to some WCU players parents on the plane. They loved Wa-Griz and had a great time in Missoula. Very complementary of the fans and couldn't believe how friendly every one was both at the game, tailgates and after the final whistle!

Bad- Cost of the hotels in Missoula keeps going up!

Good - Harris is an emerging star. Otlewski will be a really really good one and is already pushing some of the older guys for playing time.
Bad - Rostad isn't ready (I know we may not have a choice right now)...corner has become a glaring weakness. I find it hard to believe Ford couldn't be of some help...Jackson is either overmatched or has developed a rep. He's good for 1-2 PI's a game, usually at the worst possible time.
Ugly - the reffing. FFS, they took a GREAT game and made it all about them.

Truth … sigh!

How do you know this? Since when do officials control video replay? Cite source(s). If it's just your opinion, say so. Serious questions.
