Griz QB Depth

Outside of one interception both played well today. Coaches doing an outstanding job in using both these guys. Young guy is getting reps and we all see his potential. Transfer vet comes in and plays an almost perfect game with a lead. Outstanding stuff in my opinion.
Right on. I am a huge KAY supporter but learned something today.
At the time, I assumed KAY was injured and that’s why he didn’t finish the game even though he came back and scored a TD after that hit and being down for bit. However, now I don’t think that was the case and KAY probably could have played because BH commented about this in his post game presser and said Fife finished the game because he (Fife) does things well that they wanted to do at the end of the game or words to that effect. I think this meant they had the lead and wanted to manage the game and run the clock out. That is some next level coaching and the two headed QB beast is very effective and difficult for defenses to prepare for and corral.
Most backup QBs are just that—backups. Break glass in case of emergency. Or maybe a change of pace type, like suck state a few years ago, or used only for a better match up against certain teams.
Today was different. Fife was more like a closer, and used similarly in the MoState game too. Very cool.

Bobby said this coming out of camp. Might be time to start believing him.

A 3 point lead was in no way safe. Fife really slammed the door with some very clutch deliveries. Very 9th inning like.

Could be. Usually the players usually know what is going on. Whatever the injury hope he heals and gets back out there. He was fun to watch and he is only a freshmen. He seemed like he was finally getting into a rhythm out there. Go Griz!
I'd trust a player over a senile man on egriz. Jus saying.

Maybe he is in protocol but I talked to his dad after game, as well as the kid.if he had a concussion, do you think he would be signing autographs and being in photos for an hour after the game? Is that part of concussion protocol?

Explaining the NFL's 5-step concussion protocol
  • Step 1: Rest and recovery. This one is simple. ...”
It’s cognitive and physical rest.
