Here are the early Sagarin ratings for FCS teams as well as schedule rank (the lower the number on each, the better):

85. Montana (205 schedule rank)
100. Montana St (233 schedule rank)
102. Central Ark (201)
105. South Dakota (4)
107. North Dakota (88)
109. Idaho (69)
123. Sac St (98)
132. UC Davis (160)

Yikes! What is the bub's SOS going to be after they play Mercyhurst Hospital? We all knew their schedule was weak, but wow.

Even my neighbor was embarrassed about their game this weekend and nothing embarrasses him including his wife.

Don’t think they are going which is shocking because they have not missed a home game recently and certainly not during the Wet Palm Tommy era. Because they would be staying home this weekend, I asked if he would finally paint that hideous shed and he said probably not.

He was so upset because apparently they are playing Lord Have Mercy again next year. He thought it was a home-n-home. Is that true? I couldn’t even tease him; it would be like kicking an injured dog.

Interesting that Montana is third in Sagarin and only ranked 9th in the STATS poll. Maybe the voters don't know much.
It is an interesting convo. I like sagarin because it takes on so many data points (who have you played, was it home or away, did you win or lose, by how much, etc) and assigns points basically. It’s more of a black and white look as opposed to the polls which have so much bias and emotion. Both have their place.

Infamous Stetson, on the scats schedule last year. Costello really knows how to pick 'em!
Scats only real test comes Sept. 28 in Holt, with Cody and Dan Hawkins as their host.🤗
