Jay And Marty are annoying

Marty is great. Cohen average.

Could get rid of Riley Corcoran though. He is irritating, especially how he manipulates his voice for emphasis, and repeating the same information 14 times a game (although he has improved last I listened to him). :)
 
Marty is sometimes overblown, but knows the game better than any of us.

Maybe the solution is to turn down the volume and rely on “UM Notes” from gogriz.com while listening to smooth jazz or something else of your liking.
 
Marty is fine, he loves football and is passionate about the Griz. Jay is a stick in the mud, always has been. If they were to get someone else who who can call out the play by play, keep Marty on track but most importantly have a sense of humor and banter with him, I think it would be great.

Ace took over for Riley doing PBP in the middle of the 3rd quarter yesterday on the radio because (and this is a direct quote) Riley "wanted him to get some reps". I immediately wondered if they were auditioning him for play by play on television.

It’s a nice thought, but I believe it has more to do with the impending birth of his child. He addressed it preseason and said the kid is due in the middle of the season and they would have a plan if he had to jet off for the birth. Poor planning on Riley’s part. 😉
 
The most obvious is Jay doesn’t know the roster just so many mistakes where kids are from, what class they are in, etc. makes it hard to give him much credibility to the cast. The back up sideline reporter had a real rough day spitting words out but Kyle will be back so it will be better.

Riley is outstanding! I listened to Mick for well over a decade, Riley has done very well and we’re VERY lucky to have him!

I was at the game so I didn’t know Ace did part of the game. I was basing my observation on listening to him on Lady Griz, Soccer, and Softball. An easy listen with a good combination of the play by play complemented with off action storytelling.
