I think a lot of them won't even come back because we're up so much. I guess drinking is more important than watching the team play.

I'm also watching the Idaho - UAlbany game on. Idaho's dominating.

I thought UM considered Idaho one of our biggest rivals so that once they came back we'd play them every year like we play the cats. I see that's not so - we don't play Idaho this year. The cats do.

Doesn't that potentially get us in that weird situation where we beat the cats who beat the spuds but we lose out on the conference rankings?

Yes. Welcome to the dumb ass Big Sky. They gave us Portland state as a protected rival instead of Idaho.

I consider cats Idaho EWU and Weber all bigger rivals than Whooping Cough State.

Griz and Idaho should play every year, but it's the Big Sky Conference... they can't not step on their dick at every turn.

Conference schedules are created by the conference, not the schools. Montana has no control over whether they play Idaho, unless they schedule a non-conference game together. I do agree though, that Idaho and Montana should play every year. They should be a protected rivalry, as someone mentioned earlier.

Another reason to leave for FBS, good chance Idaho could get called up with us and we wouldn't have to finacially cater to other Big Sky schools (they want our ticket revenue visiting other teams)
