Players will come and go and "good" QBs will not shy away from Montana.Huot will be gone in the portal and who can blame him. Why would a good qb come here ? to wither and fade away.

The entire team sucked in the 2nd half. Not a single good performance to be found, including from Fife. Not sure what 3 handoffs, one great call on a QB sweep, and 2 passes into the dirt spoke to you that Logan played better than Keali'i.He was in there for like 6 snaps. Ah Yat was out of his element in the 2nd half. Couldn't get a first down. Really did favors for his defense.
Even a Chrysler will get you where you want to go...Please. The decision has been made. No need to wait for two puffs of white smoke from the Athletics Deparment.
Yes, Fife was in for a handfull of plays, including a few after The Starting QB took a cheapshot to the back. The rest of the game was played by the Ah Yat. That's the definition of the starter and backup. Full Stop.
This ain't "Let's Make A Deal." Bobby Hauck isn't Monty Hall. There's no door number 2.
The people who see these quarterbacks every freak'n day have made the choice. Congrats to KY for earning the responsibility of starting. We're behind you.
As an aside, this rope a dope about questioning the starter kills me, but it probably shouldn't. I remember when posters on this board were complaining to the point of absurdity about Craig Ochs starting. One poster proclaimed that "Jeff Disney throws passes that catch themselves."
Don't hold out for a new car, which could be a Chrysler, when Monty's ready to park a free boat in your driveway. The deal's been made.
You can get a Chrysler 300 with an SRT8 in it… it wouldn’t be my choice, but that has to be a fun car.Even a Chrysler will get you where you want to go...
I was thinking of the K Cars and the LeBarrons that were on the gameshow when I was a kid.Even a Chrysler will get you where you want to go...
We made no adjustments in the 2nd half. UND did. There was confusion on the o-line. Lots of twists and blitzes. They needed to run the ball more in the 2nd half. The screens were not open. Linebackers were going through untouched. Needed to do inside runs. It would have opened up the screens we were dosing in the 1st half. In the 1st half if AY throws earlier to Nick would have been TD. If Fife stays in bounds would have been another TD. If X doesn’t catch the kick off that was going out of bounds in the 2nd half that changes our field position and gives us more options for offensive play calls. Totally changes the momentum and outcome of the game. Makes UND one dimensional. At the end of the day coaches choice on continuing to play both or picking one. They see them everyday. In my opinion we had poor play calling in the 2nd half and mistakes that we could have capitalized on. Also learning moments for mistakes that were made. The entire team sucked in the 2nd half. I don't think Ah Yat's performance in the 2nd half was good, save the one scramble that gave us a chance to tie the game. His sacks were bad. However, we will be a better team at the end of this year if we lean into KAY's game and get him more experience. Fife is inconsistent and has trouble making reads (and has all fall).
If they decide to bench Ah Yat and roll with Fife, I'm sure we'll be fine and win a lot of games, but Ah Yat is going to end up the better QB. I think we should start working on him sooner than later.
