On the bright side

November/December is coming and that's when we see the best of the griz.
Agreed. As painful as that shit was today -- and it was BRUUUUUUTALLY painful -- we played without 3 all-Americans.

It's a long season and we still control all we need to. This team has a chance to get on a real roll over the next six or seven weeks and put themselves into the same position they were in last year: hosting 3 playoff games.

Go GRIZ.

Wilson played and he stood out as best LB by far, there is another to remain nameless that plays a lot more than he would if I coached , but I’m not related

The good news is it’s only week 2 and now things get easier from here. A chance to work on a lot of things against Morehead State, and suddenly Western Carolina doesn’t look as tough. Then it’s off to Eastern who looks like a total joke. A lot of time to find things that work and (hopefully) get the train back on the tracks.

Are you talking about the last four years or this year ?

I agree with you Everett. Yes, ND was a lower rated team but that is why they play the game. Look what happened to Notre Dame yesterday. You guys will have a good rest of the season. Look at what happened last year after the NAU game. I never thought you guys would overcome that. The team played great after that. I think Ay Yat is your QB. With more reps, he is going to be a really good one.

My take is that for the Griz and the Cats, Idaho is going to be the one to watch. It is going to be an interesting season.

Well we don’t play Idaho so we don’t have to worry about them, but I agree that those three so far appear to be the clear top teams

Bobby's teams are known for starting slow but steadily building momentum, peaking in December. Anyone with a basic understanding of football can see the potential and talent in this squad. We're going to be just fine this season.
He himself has stated he wants his teams playing their best football in Nov/Dec. I think we lost this game on purpose to keep that belief intact😁.

That was all coaching. The coaches dropped the ball. Zero second half adjustments, and the over aggressive D needs to be rethought because they are getting burned bad. They can't even stop runs. stop trying to sack the QB every play stuff some holes and covers some receivers. The new DCs are turning out to not be very good. The offense did their job. The "Hitter" Tim D is garbage.
