Griz vs Missouri State Official game thread

Now that it’s over… I am very glad I didn’t doom post or this game would have been more stressful than it already was.

Quick take: Ah Yat is definitely a frosh and made some frosh mistakes, but holy hell he was not helped out by Fontes. I like his speed and wasn’t expecting how fast he is. He has Sneed wheels. I’m glad that Fife (showing his experience) was a steadying hand. His RPO read and throw to X on 4th and 1 for the tuddy was beautiful. Gilman remains a beast. And X… X is showing why he remains one of my favorite players. Selfless, gritty, and feckin lethal with the ball in his hands. O line still has some gelling to do, but overall wasn’t miserable for a first game with new faces. I liked the push they were getting and I really hoped that they would have been able to close out the game in the final 4 minutes. Where was Grossman??? Consistency has yet to be achieved. Overall grade: B-

For defense, looks like there are coverage errors. Bobby said they were having trouble with zone and that looked like it continued until it didn’t. Mo State’s line got atritted hard and it showed at the end. Thier RB is a feckin beast. The D looks quite similar to what it was under Baer, lots of pressure and if it’s picked up you are screwed. Also there was some serious over pursuit and non gap-sound behaviors. More discipline is needed. Ultimately, the D-Line came through at the end, but there is a lot to work on defensively. Overall grade: C

Game 1 GPA is a 2.35. Not on academic probation but we are flirting with it.
 
I told you all last week there was an issue with Bergen.But hey what do I know ? Don't you assholes answer that cause you were no where to be found.

You didn't tell us anything. You ASKED If there was a problem with him and nobody gave a definitive answer. There were some people who knew, but they couldn't say so they didn't. The end. Curmudgeon.

do you think I though of that thread out of thin air ? you certainly were no where to be found. I was not gonna give it away.After all some of us have to play the game to protect the team.
