The Cats did not look good in pass protection last week. That being said, they didn’t have a single member of their OL playing in their normal position. Time will tell how the line looks at pass blocking.

Also important to remember Perkins was out, Wehr and Moore switched to guard, and the two tackles got their first starts. When Reed and Perkins return I would expect a much better pass protection.

I think it’ll be worse. Haven’t seen anything special from them.

From Perkins?? Dude started 40 straight, it will be great to have him back as he is the leader of the OL. I also believe Reed was an All-conference player before getting injured.

Can Cat o-line have possibly learned to pass block for drop back passing in one offseason? They sure couldn't pick up the blitz.

I am so stoked we get to watch the griz game for an hour before the Cats play! I'm going to take notes and watch intently to see what perfect execution looks like in pass blocking, blitz protection, etc. I'll be disappointed if whatever QB you try today gets sacked at all. I'm sure that won't happen though.

It’s not often that the Varsity plays before the JV. Enjoy!
 
Last week the bubs played their only relatively challenging game before the Brawl. I don't think they're great, but if they don't roll into late November 11-0, they have serious issues. 11-1 should still get them a 4 seed, and a second round home loss.

Idaho? UCD? SacSt? EW? Thats 2 top 10 teams and 3 top 25. I’d say 3 top 10 wins and 1 FBS wins would get us the 1 seed

Not when you get whalloped at home by 44 to a 12-0 team. But yeah, you're probably correct. the bubs ain't winning all those games.

Likewise - the griz should definitely be 11-0 heading into the brawl, that game should determine who is at home throughout the playoffs. Can't wait, gonna be a fun season!

Now this is crazy. MoSt is maybe a top 25, UND is barely top 25, and W Ca is barely top 25. If the hardest non conference schedule in the nation is teams that will be happy if they make playoffs then the world might be ending

Suprise here… we actually decided to not build our indoor facility out of white tarp. Our building is actually steel!
