I don't think the Buffs are very good but they were able to take advantage of NDSU weakness in the secondary.

I know it might be unpopular, but I think Colorado will be decent this year in the Big 12, which says a lot about NDSU right now.

NDSU doesn’t quite look like the NDSU of old. They don’t have that intimidating running game they used to have. They definitely spread it out more now. They also don’t look nearly as good defensively:

Definitely worth their ranking. Weak in the secondary d/t inexperience and injuries, but shouldn’t struggle with many FCS teams at all.

Bison are a legit top 5 team in FCS. They are good.
