Where is it said that home-away is factored into strength of schedule? NAU has some home field advantage. So does EWU. SS? Weber? Apparently not MSU, as they couldn’t beat a unseeded team in Bozeman.
Correct. A lot of people forget that the friendly confines (bleachers) of RHS provide no home field advantage whatsoever. Bobfans admit it every time they say the only reason we won in the playoffs is our home field advantage. We didn’t lose to an unseeded team at home, so maybe they’re right, but it’s a bad look to shit on your own stadia like that. I guess they’re used to bad looks, though.

If it factored in home field advantage it would put you guys further into easiest schedule. Idaho, MSU, and UM are the only 3 that have real home field advantages. It’s fairly accurate too as PSU has the hardest schedule in probably all of FCS.
Home field advantage and home vs away match ups are two different things. Neither are accounted for in your circle jerk.
And your 7th grade algorithm is meaningless at this time of year. Maybe it might make more sense at the end of the season, but right now it’s worthless and does not “prove” shit.
For instance, the fact that The Griz must go on the road to Reno’s for Sale stadium likely to win the BSC should be weighted, and is much more important than your silly, arbitrary, capricious, assigned number guesses.
Besides, when The Griz come to town it’s like everyone’s Super Bowl. 😜

Of course record is important but SOS is an important factor for picking between teams that are close. How do you think the cats got a 4 seed with 3 losses? SOS… everyone mentioned last year that SOS is more important than it used to be for seeding. UNM brought in a good coach and TONS of transfers… they will be better and we play them away which adds another element. I’d be careful referring to Saragin as they ranked the cats above the gris last season… does that mean our worst season in 3 years is still better than the gris’ best in 15?? 😂

Do the games that MSU has bought out of against NDSU count as
A. Nearly won
B. Could’ve won
C. Would’ve won
D. Should’ve won
E. All of the above

First off it’s not my algorithm. But you can’t deny that the media ranked the BSC accordingly snd the gris play the worst and avoid most of the best. Just admit you have an easy conference schedule and move on.

Well when the Griz are the highest ranked team in the big sky, ofc it's going to make other teams look like they have a harder schedule. Unfortunately the griz can't play themselves. It's not our fault the rest of the conference is lacking.

That would have a minor influence. The gris dodged Idaho and Sac and got UCD at home. Couldn’t get much easier

I'm sure everyone would have preferred to at least get Idaho on the schedule, our true rival. However, the big sky is pathetic. UNC and either Cal Poly or PSU should be removed. Every team should play against each other and have a true champion. Or get more members and form 2 divisions and have a conf championship game..

Sac probably won't be as good as they were last year. I believe UCD will be better. So really, is there that much of a difference? Also Idaho is unknown right now. They lost so many damn players, quite a few starters.

You really don't know the strength of your schedule till the end of the year. Teams slip and teams emerge. It's only speculation at this point.

Fair. I think the big sky is really good though. Half the league is ranked

And it's about damn time. The GRIZ have watched patsies like sac and the bubs with pushover schedules "win" conf championships in this pathetic joke of a thing called a league for years while the GRIZ played every good team. Welcome
To the shitty side of the bsc. (#bsc)

And FWIW, the bubs conference schedule is no more difficult than the GRIZ this year.

You said it was your algorithm: "By my algorithm". That's why you said.

You think the media pre-season pole means something? And some algorithm that uses it which does not even account for home vs away games too? Boy, you are dumber than I thought.
Guess I forgot who I was talking to—preseason champs!
Why do they even play the games? Shouldn’t we just hand out the trophy now?
Pre-season media pole. 😂

Translation: First off, cumquat, it’s “algorithm” as in “I’ll go rite to mum’s room” and tell on you if you insult me again. She lives right above my room.
