We are not extrapolating the results to a "population" of kicks here, so there is no minimum sample size required. We are evaluating the kicks that he attempted. He missed 66% of them. If I had instead said "He will continue to miss 66% of his kicks", you would be correct. As in many statistics there is a minimum. Same reason for if someone was 6/6 as it wouldn’t be a big enough sample size. QB’s that play enough games all get over the minimum amount of passes same goes for kickers getting over a minimum. I had a 4.0… had no difficulty getting into tech![]()
I'm embarrassed you had to explain this to him.We are not extrapolating the results to a "population" of kicks here, so there is no minimum sample size required. 6/6 on FGs tells us that a kicker made his FGs, and 2/6 tells us that he missed most of them.
I don't even think he's a bad kicker. He may turn it around and kick better next season, but he did not kick well last year.
Again, though, your passes analogy is dumb because many QBs have many more than 6 passes in a single quarter. They are not equivalent.
Him going 2/6 could easily turn into 12/15. Look at his history at MSU to see his kicking ability. But saying he is a bad kicker based on 6 kicks in awful logic. We are not extrapolating the results to a "population" of kicks here, so there is no minimum sample size required. My god, man.I don't even think he's a bad kicker.
I've been not posting and staying out of this shit show, but come on. This is basic math, man. 2/6 cannot turn into 12/15, because he had already missed 4 kicks. Even if he knocked in his next 10 straight kicks, he would be 12/16. Which, honestly, is still not great. This is stupid, stupid argument to have, but at least get the math right. Double check it once you start engineering anything structural. Please.Him going 2/6 could easily turn into 12/15. Look at his history at MSU to see his kicking ability. He was 1-2 inside 30 and 1-2 inside 40. He had no attempts over 50. 2-4 is "better" inside 40? In his first game, he missed from 42 and made from 29. In his 3d game, he made from 35 and missed from 36. In next game, he missed from 23. I didn't see his 6th kick, a miss. In the last games when he was "starting", he wasn't doing the kickoffs. UCLA brought in a transfer with experience from Cal.As a junior he is fine he didn’t miss a single PAT and while be had some misses he was better inside 40. Overall 6 isn’t a big enough sample and he actually was the starting kicker in the last 5 games. I expect him to be the starter all year this year where we can get more attempts.
Lol it’s been a long summer 12/16*I've been not posting and staying out of this shit show, but come on. This is basic math, man. 2/6 cannot turn into 12/15, because he had already missed 4 kicks. 50% is better than 33%. Point is he kicked significantly better at MSU and I don’t think those 6 kicks were a very good representation of him as a kickerHe was 1-2 inside 30 and 1-2 inside 40. OK, sure, your "anniversary". I am also not attacking anyone, just making fun of you and your continued nonsense.Actually I have my anniversary coming up. I love when gris fans begin to attack the person… shows a lot about themselves
It could turn into 2/15 also. Making shit up isn't logical, not even awful logic.Him going 2/6 could easily turn into 12/15. Look at his history at MSU to see his kicking ability. But saying he is a bad kicker based on 6 kicks in awful logic.

Why don’t you just post a pic to prove you are who you claim? You can redact any identifying info.Actually I have my anniversary coming up.
Question... How tall are the uprights at Washington Griz? There isn't a maximum height, but Minimum needs to be 35 feet. There is an article from 2005 in the Missoulian about the new removable goal posts, but it is behind a paywall.I thought you said he was some great shit. Those are pretty average numbers. Hell, Dan Carpenter's 6 year old daughter could have rung up those kind of numbers.
What else ya got?
And seriously, why are the RHS uprights so fucking small?
35 feet from the cross bar, so 45 from the groundQuestion... How tall are the uprights at Washington Griz? There isn't a maximum height, but Minimum needs to be 35 feet. There is an article from 2005 in the Missoulian about the new removable goal posts, but it is behind a paywall.
I looked at a few pics of the RHS goalposts, and the uprights look barely longer than the crossbar. Like a HS. It's strange, but they must just barely meet regulations, I'm guessing.35 feet from the cross bar, so 45 from the ground
4.0 in high school that got me into tech. Why don’t you just post a pic to prove you are who you claim? You can redact any identifying info.
Maybe a pic of your 4.0 transcript and class schedule at tech?
You could also post a pic of your “girl friend” although I would not recommend that

The starters got bigger, but the line is still on the smaller side, I believe. Average weight of 296. The Griz are smaller this year and don't have the usual several giant guys. Not sure where we discussed the “undersized” MSU o-line but they updated weights (bold are starters).
