"Griz looking to prove themselves after national runner-up finish"

I love how butthurt you still are specifically about Clif lol
I rewatched some games recently. Cliff changed the team, his ability to run helped the gris run and pass game tremendously. Gris are going to miss that guy, he would’ve been phenomenal in 3rd or 4th and short and could’ve had a Chamber’s like role

Nope, Griz not outclassed at all. SDSU was very good, Griz didn't capitalize on early opportunities, our QB got hurt in the first half, and SDSU pulled away in the 3d Q. Being down 3-7 at half is not being outclassed. Learn the game if you're going to post on egriz.
Suck it up and amit when you are wrong.Which you are.

For someone who claims to be a Griz fan, you seem to go out of your way to show their failings

If they were better I would go out of my way to praise them. I am just responding to what Bobby said which was not true.Either he did not understand his competition or he was trying to make himself look good.Either way the statement he made was not accurate.

Here is the full list of players with South Dakota ties who were drafted or signed other deals with NFL teams:

  • The Arizona Cardinals drafted O’Gorman alum Tip Reiman in the third round with the 82nd pick
  • The Pittsburgh Steelers drafted South Dakota State’s Mason McCormick in the fourth round with the 119th pick
  • The New York Jets drafted South Dakota State’s Isaiah Davis in the fifth round with the 173rd pick
  • The Cleveland Browns drafted South Dakota’s Myles Harden in the seventh round with the 227th pick
  • South Dakota State’s Garret Greenfield signed with the Seattle Seahawks
  • South Dakota State’s Dyshawn Gales signed with the Cleveland Browns
  • South Dakota State’s Isaiah Stahlbird signed with the New Orleans Saints
  • South Dakota State’s Jaxon Janke signed with the Houston Texans
  • South Dakota State’s Jadon Janke signed with the Houston Texans
  • South Dakota State’s Zach Heins signed with the Los Angeles Chargers
  • South Dakota’s Brendan Webb was invited to the San Francisco 49ers rookie camp
  • South Dakota’s Isaac Erbes was invited to the Tennessee Titans rookie camp
  • South Dakota’s Stephen Hillis was invited to the Buffalo Bills rookie camp
  • South Dakota’s Brock Mogensen signed a UDFA deal with the Dallas Cowboys
  • Augustana’s Casey Bauman signed a free-agent deal with the Los Angeles Chargers
  • Augustana’s Blake Larson signed a free-agent deal with the Los Angeles Rams
And yet UM, without one single draft pick wasn't blown out nearly as bad as past runners-up with all that talent, most of whom won't be on an NFL roster in 30 days.

You scored 3 points. You got blown out
Did the refrigerated koshers play in that game? Or did they get bounced at home by an unseeded team in their first playoff game?

Edit: Sorry if I wasn’t clear in the reference. Might be regional or something.

As a long time Griz fan I was frankly embarrassed by thier play in the NATTY.It's true they were lucky to get there in the first place. They simply were outclassed.

As a long time Bubfan, I was frankly embarrassed by their play in Missoula. It’s true they were lucky to get a seed with three (3) losses, but they were simply outclassed by the Griz in Missoula and the Bizon in Bozeman.

This is the probability of a punt return, kick return, OT win happening in one game (Furman game)- 0.0083% and the chances of a punt return and 2OT win- 0.85%. Combine that for a 0.000075% chance of you having a kick return, punt return, and OT win combined with a punt return and 2OT win. You are more likely to win an Olympic Gold Metal. I’d say the gris got pretty dang fortunate

Lol. Yes because we rely purely on chance and not actually plan and practice such things. How’s your special teams coming along? They still taking that short bus to practice? Probably have to hitch up and extra tall wagon to the back to get that giraffe of a kicker to practice. Must have a bit of a pitch to the roof of it too because none of his kicks seem to go straight.

Do bubz even have a special teams coach yet? Sure doesn’t seem like it.
Or are they just going to rely on short goal posts?
