How could Griz Gillman possibly be first-team all conference rb over Davis of the Cats?

Show us the link, articles and tape: “ Almost every player on the offensive side said how much better the offense will be with one qb rather than 2, as the 2 couldn’t get individual momentum.”

The main value was Chambers able to replace Melllott when he was hurt and pick up tough yardage near goal line without Mellott having to take the pounding.
Ty McCullouch- “it never really allowed either guy to get into a groove” 2:50

An interviewer asked a player in another video what their opinion was on one qb rather than 2 and the interviewer mentioned how other players agreed that one would be easier. I can’t find the exact quote as there is about 2 hours of video.

So what you're saying is coach sixx is a moron who doesn't put his team in the best position to win. Got it. And maaaan, was he ever successful at that last year.

I think based on the 22 success with the two qb system is would’ve been insane to move away from it. It was fun and explosive but it often caused stall outs that would lead to field goals. Field goals don’t usually hurt you but when you don’t have a guy who is consistent thats when close games turn into losses (happened in 2 of the 4). Lots of players mentioned they are passing in practice a lot more and the importance of a more balanced offense. This will only help the running game as well because now you can’t stack the box too heavily… McCullouch also mentioned how our run game causes lots of man defense which also has created tons of opportunity into the pass. If the OC can figure out how to use the players this will be a very good offense.

If you watched the fall camp vids you would have a better idea. Almost every player on the offensive side said how much better the offense will be with one qb rather than 2, as the 2 couldn’t get individual momentum. I believe with Lonyatta, King, McCullouch, and Dowler this is the best wr core the cats have seen since I can remember. I think based on King’s film you can expect a big dude who can go and get balls (exactly what Tommy needs). Also Vigen mentions how Reed has made big strides in passing but needs work in his reads and decisions. I don’t think the cats could win the National Championship with Reed but I think the cats can still be a seeded team with him worst case.
It’s probably hard to remember your best receiving corps since the bubs haven’t had a passing attack in 2 decades.

Graduate… Toure was great but transferred to a program to showcase his talents which helped him play in the NFL. He is a Nebraska grad and websites say College: Nebraska
He spent most of his career at UM. He would have made the NFL from Montana. He didn't need to showcase his talent. He had broken Randy Moss's playoff game yardage record. The NFL knew who he was. From Toure's Wiki:

And you tout people like McKutcheon who has never caught a pass in the NFL. Don't think the other guy you named as played a down in NFL either. These guys didn't even catch many passes in college.

Never even heard of the Kansis guy. Mccutchon, man I have to think that dude with give a billion dollars to have played at a school who had more than 4 forward pass plays in the playbook.

Don’t get me wrong Toure was phenomenal and had the talent. I think playing at the FBS level will in most cases help your draft stock as you see better players on the other side of the ball. Yes he would’ve made it but the fact that the Packer’s website says Nebraska makes it so no one will know he went to UM in most cases.

Don’t get me wrong, Toure will and has had more success than McCutcheon and Kassis but to say the cats haven’t produced NFL level receivers is inaccurate.

Did anyone say MSU hasn’t produced any NFL receivers?

When they catch a pass in an NFL game, you can say that.

Wasn’t there a good receiver in the MSU coach/player drug ring? I don’t think it was Smith, but I’m drawing a blank. Help me out.

That’s the one. Thanks! Dude loved that fresh powder the MSU program was known for before its conversion to MSdUi.

Wolf said he hasn’t heard of a memorable receiving core in decades. Also I just remembered Travis Jonsen who played for the Bucs and now has a ring. So that makes 3 in the last four years. McCutcheon led the NFL in preseason in yards but was behind very good wr for the Rams. Now at the Jets he is suiting up but still would need an injury before he would get serious time. Kassis and Jonsen never had the success McCutcheon has had but still were on NFL rosters. What makes it even more impressive is how McCutcheon was from Bozeman.
