No, so wrong. I’ve heard this a million times from bubzo’s but it’s not true.
In both games, they may have been close to a TIE but even if we pretend they did not fall so woefully short, they would have still had to win a whole ‘nother period. It’s like you all conveniently forget that part.

AND in the SDSU game their QB threw the ball a full step past the line of scrimmage. If completed, it still may well have been called back.

A few Griz fans on a Griz message board starting a scat thread to talk s**t how dumb the scats are that maybe 20 people might see is minuscule in comparison to a team starting a “number tradition” that the whole fan base glorifies just because they think it might upset their rival. One is being petty and the other screams Griz envy.

I missed this exchange when it was posted. Holy shit!!! The Bobs actually started a “tradition” to try to irk Griz fans? That is maybe the most pathetic thing I’ve ever heard. No coming back from that. Long live the #41, since we now know it’s in honor of the Griz.

Do you think the u.of Montana started the tunnel run, the player running out with the flag, the piped in music through the p.a. system, theses are actual traditions of numerous teams through out the country on gameday....get real.

None of those things were done just to piss off some other school, certainly not the rivals.

The 37 tradition was player initiated and propagated, and Monymony admitted that their old coach copied it just to piss off Griz fans. Completely different things.

Are you accusing us of having these traditions to piss off the scats? Cus that’s what we’re taking about here. Your fan base claims the 41 tradition was started just to upset Griz fans. And yes, us calling y’all scats is petty but if we’re comparing the patheticness(not a real word) of our name calling to your reasons for starting team traditions on a 1 to 10 scale, you’re a 10 and we’re a 1.

Brilliant would be thinking that because you and plenty of others over here have spent days/months/ and in some cases years in coming up with clever handle names that have griz, grizzlies or something equally original and that it means you're a better fan. Hahahahaha...
