I decided to watch the MSU / NDSU game to see if Monymony was full of baloney on the play calling and guess what I hear loud and clear throughout the game? ESGGCG. After getting positively embarrassed in Missoula and now playing a completely different team, their fan base yells that trash loud and proud. I was only going to watch part of it but now I'm going to watch the whole thing just to watch them lose at the end. It's going to be beautiful.

I watched the first half. Not only did I not hear ESGGCG but I counted roughly 13 passing plays and most were quick passes that ended up being 15+ yards.

Selective hearing. Go back to right after your first score. It's so loud that the announcers are having to talk louder over top of it.

Also you being back over here again really proves your Griz envy.

Now I hear it but that is far from loud. Actually what you mainly hear is “go cats go” which is part of the fight song… I get notifications too

Why do you have your notifications turned on for posts that aren't quoting you? I don't get notifications from here at all. I come hang out when I want to and walk away when I don't. I think you're proving my point.

Also Tommy only threw half of those passes, the rest were from Chambers. And yes his completion percentage was pretty good but that was a very small amount of plays. Those plays called against that defense on that day worked pretty well, but if the offense changes quite a bit so will your opponents defensive game plans. I have yet to watch the second half so I don't really know what happened there yet.

I don't mean to spoil it for you, so
They lost in heartbreaking fashion, at home, in the playoffs, and it's our fault that we got playoff games at home as a 2 seed.

I went to 3 gris games this year… heard it at every game and yes it’s mainly students but thats the same for the cats. The reason it sounds so loud on TV is because the microphone is near the students. I’d say Tommy did most of the throwing, I believe Chambers only threw 3-4. Yes game plans change but if defenses are going to adapt into a more relaxed defense then the run will kill them.

Ha. I knew that part. I just meant I was keeping track of the play calls and I have no idea what they were in the second half. But thanks so much for making sure that I knew the outcome! 😆

Nope, we absolutely love it and cats fans don’t like the gris. The reason we chant it is because it has now become part of the fight song (played after points) which we scored a lot of at home games…

Man, gotta call bullshit on this one. My season tickets last year were literally just across the aisle from the students. I did not hear it from anybody unless we were playing the Cats. I've also never heard any Griz fans yelling it at concerts and weddings.

I'm not just trying to troll you. I genuinely did not hear it once. I would remember, because it would annoy me if that was a thing.
