Go griz. I posted a thread about “we got this”. Those who read and replied, my apologies. I’m actually very humble and low key. I was in no right to post those messages. I have a mental illness, which got the better of me. Anybody who plays athletics at any division is a true young man. I’ve learned my lesson, and wish to continue to post about griz athletics. Thanks.

Who is your favorite player and coach, past and present?

Man, I haven't thought about Hilliard in a while. I had classes with him when I was a freshman! That dude looked like an anvil walking around campus.

I'm super excited about Hauck and Bergen this year too. I think this has a chance to be special!!

How are you feeling about our defense with so many new faces?

We used to call Lex Hilliard "the Division I maker"....if you could tackle Lex Hilliard and weren't scared out of your mind to do so, you might have a chance to go D-!.

Little did we know....this dude was the greatest AA running back in Montana history who would become a three-time All-Big Sky selection and an NFL Draft pick. Absolute beast. Should be talked about more within the history of Montana football

He absolutely should be. Is there ANY running back in Montana history you would rather run the ball on 4th and 1? I say it is Lex every time.

And man, I would not have passed the division 1 test. I got out of his way at the water fountain. 🤣

I was in quite a few of the same high school track meets as Lex. Never competed against him because we did different events, but it was down right terrifying seeing a dude that big move so fast in 100 m on a track.

lex was a man among boys when he played for the griz. Yes, hauck and Bergen are special. hauck’s a very smart coach and we need to get the ball to Bergen a lot. Are defense will be solid. We lost some big name players, but I feel we have good talent returning. We did great in recruiting and have a lot depth. We have great coaches returning. Also, hauck is known for earring you position. Even know you started doesn’t guarantee you still have it. You gotta compete each year. which makes you better as player and the team all around.
 
I am hoping this team is the right combination to finally get Bobby a NC ring. I know a lot of people don't care for him, and I used to be one of them, but really if there was ever a Coach in the history of the program who deserves one, it's him. There have been great coaches but none with the consistent success he has had.

That said, I don't think we (the fans) will see the production out of Bergen that we did last year. I HOPE the he is able to recreate or do better than last year, but that was a straight up Unicorn year. There isn't one or two specific players I want to see do great, I would love to see nothing but Griz players dominating every level of the All American lists.

Heck yea, I like the sound of that. Should be a pretty awesome year! What do you think the chances are we can get back to the natty?

great. We have 7 home games, that’s huge! It will help us in the beginning, middle, and the deep end of the season… before playoffs. Honestly, will have nick and nack injuries. but if are quarter back stays healthy in the deep end of the season and through playoffs, we could possibly make it to the championship game. Its a long season. If we win the big sky, beat the bobcats, and host 3 playoff games. we can do it again.
