Playing two games a year in the Dakotas doesn't eliminate California and Oregon from your schedule.

Maybe DII is more your style. Heard on good authority that the GNAC needs fb teams. You can make C Washington, W Oregon, Humboldt St and Azusa Pacific in LA your conference, get great recruiting there, go 12-0, and have a full stadium of Griz fans loving every minute of it. Would be cheaper too. Your old AD actually said that was possible as FCS doesn't work financially.

South is a distance too. Flagstaff 1041 miles. Greeley 863 miles. Cedar City 773 miles

Your beloved Fargo is just 950 miles almost straight east in the next state.

The airplane time is a negligible difference, although Flagstaff often requires a Phoenix flight and then a bus trip up. So Flagstaff gets an OK from you as it includes a bus trip.

But Carroll presents a better opportunity so I understand. You need bus trips, not airline trips.

Didn't realize how egriz wanted bussable opponents so much. Scratch this idea because it's beyond your financial means. Make sure you take busses on your next trips to Suck St, Cedar City and Greeley though. Youll save tons of money.

Just this week, the Horizon League offered IUPUI in an attempt to get to 12 schools. They still need to add two more. IPFW wants out of the Summit and W Illinois is in a state that is near bankrupt. Soon, the Summit will be entirely west of the Mississippi River for the first time in history.

The Summit needs more schools. The Montanas, Idaho and EWU would make a cool league rather than the dregs you play in the Big Sky. This board is always complaining about how far the Sky has fallen. Well here is your chance coming up. Much better competition, better academics, more research schools, and you can play the rest of the Big Sky non-conference. That would be clearly the strongest fb conference in FCS and maybe it could move to FBS. Will the Montanas and Idaho have enough intestinal fortitude and masculinity to move, or will you be pussies?

We are waiting.

The smarter play is for the Dakota schools to move to the Big Sky. In return we can donate our 4 lowest "dregs" back to the Summit.

What was this madness? Why did I see someone say they want UM to be in the same conference, on the same level, as freaking Carroll College or Yakima College?

And quick question for all you realignment junkies: Why do you like having Eastern Washington so much? They're the Boise State of the FCS. Really good at football, but that's it. Crappy school, tiny stadium, Incredibly remote, and not even in the mountains. If the goal is be seen as a good well-regared conference, EWU is not the school to add.

Also, UNDfan, what the hell? Big Sky ain't a bad conference. Is it perfect? By all means no, but the conference as a whole isn't bad. And by the way, the F'n Hawks are still in it, so are they dregs too?
