I was hoping for Delaware State, the historically Black College that Biden went to when he was driving 18 Wheelers... He was probably running from the Cops, who arrested him at Civil Rights marches or he was delivering a truck load of coal since he was a miner or he was fleeing from being shot at in Iraq.

Alright, I'll bite. This is on the political forum so I guess it's okay to talk about. You keep saying you want to debate people about political topics. Do you have one in mind? I'm thinking because of your stand on kneeling during the national anthem it might be "Limits to freedom of expression in the Constitution"? Is there something else on your mind that you'd rather talk about? I'm open to ideas. Fire away, or I can go first.
 
I have a problem with them kneeling during the National Anthem. I never said they were prohibited to do so under the US Constitution... Why are you posting though, after derailing the O'Connell topic and not manning up to it?

I can't really talk politics with you though, I don't pay attention to anything up there besides you have your own Fascist Dictator to deal with.

I don't want help with derailing the topic, they will blame me anyway because their blood boils even when my posts say that the officials don't know their elbows from their Democrat Mascots... THAT sets them off because it's my fault the Democrat party picked the A** as their mascot... Then they will say to take my politics to faceplace or whatever... To me it's hilarious how triggered they are, but to your credit you are here, when none of the others will show up.

There's all kinds of topics from the simple economics to the border being wide open, resulting in 100,000 deaths from Fentanyl, to the out of control massive budget, to the money laundering done by Obama with the Ukraine, to the Biden crime family that makes the Gambino's look like Boy Scouts etc...

Okay, quite a wide range of ideas there. Let's go with "open border resulting in 100,000 Fentanyl deaths." That stat is per year and will probably increase. All drug trafficking is supply and demand and nowhere in the world is the market for drugs as lucrative as the US. Weed, cocaine, crack, meth, oxy, and now fentanyl, doesn't matter whether is comes from China, Columbia, or Missouri.

China is still the primary exporter of fentanyl to the US, almost all of that coming in through oceanic shipping. To slow that, that is container and ship inspection capabilities all over the US. China's merchant fleet is massive and comes through every port in the US, be it Long Beach, Miami, or Duluth, Minnesota. Pretty tough to tighten that border unless people are prepared to put up with increased taxes and increased cost for imported goods. Delays in shipping don't get eaten by Wal-Mart they get passed on to the customer. Doesn't mean it shouldn't be done, it just isn't an easy sell to consumers.

Mexico is increasing, rapidly as a exporter of fentanyl into the massive US market. The overwhelming majority of that comes up hidden in the 35,000 trucks that cross the US/Mexico border daily. They aren't bringing it in across the desert, some poor Honduran looking for a better life doesn't have fentanyl under his hat while he wades across the Rio Grande.

Trucking is covered under NAFTA which has been around since 1988, but again if the US wants to divert resources to increased inspections at any land border, it can be done. The problems of delays in supply chains will again only get passed on to the consumers. Catching drug runners and drugs has traditionally had little effect on supply and demand.

It's just easier to get drugs / illegals through the southern border because even when the States put up quasi fencing, it's cut down by Border Patrol agents under the orders of Obama. Terrorists from everywhere also choose the border because of how easy it is.

There is tons of regular good people that just want a better life coming through, but there is tons of bad guys also, that's documented by the former Chiefs of the Border Patrol and ICE as well as Mayors and Governors and members of Congress that frequently appear on Real America's Voice. A lot of the good guys traffic in drugs as well because if they don't, the cartels will kill their families.

Border Patrol agent attrition is high because of the increased danger from the cartels, and it's not like they are free to engage them with their sidearms or anything that makes sense. It gets worse when the Communist Media carries stories like the Border Patrol "whipped migrants" while on Horseback, which didn't happen... Why would people keep those jobs under a dictator like Obama? What is the point when it's impossible to help the Country?

Border agents are cutting down fencing under orders from a President who last served in 2015? I don't follow.

There was a four year stretch where the Republicans controlled the Presidency, The House, and the Senate; they had carte blanche to build as much wall as possible. They built 455 miles of the almost 2000 miles that would be required. By comparison the Berlin Wall was 96 miles long and built in two weeks. I'm not saying communists are better at getting stuff done than Republicans but ....

Should you be using Real America's Voice as a source of information. Its been around for only three years, it frequently has election deniers and qanon supporters on it. The guy behind it is a convicted fraud artist, with arrests for drug dealing, burglary, assault, and domestic violence. You may not agree with papers like the NY Times but give them credit, they've been around for like 170 years, they must be doing something right.

Your idea for a topic was that 100,000 fentanyl deaths could be tied to loose border controls. Your argument didn't really touch on any of that, it seems like what you really focused on was illegal immigration. Do you have anything to back up that the two topics are related?

Also using terms like "Communist" to describe media agencies that voice opinions you don't like, or calling politicians you don't support "Dictators", I don't think that adds to the quality of a discussion. I think it's inflammatory, inaccurate, and lazy. JMO.

You don't follow that Obama is President now when Biden repeatedly says "They told me who to call on" or "I'm going to get in trouble" when he opens up the speech to the press questions? Who will he get in trouble with for his decisions? How many times has the WH had to walk back his comments that weren't authorized by the actual person in charge? Illegals are absolutely forced to track in Fentanyl. Why would the cartels refuse the easy opportunity to make that happen? "Take this over the border to ____ or we kill your family"... Easy... And of course the cartels themselves do their own runs.

Unfortunately in terms of a debate on looser borders leading to 100,000 fentanyl deaths you still haven't really come up with much. "I believe it so it's right and you don't so you are wrong." isn't a very strong approach.

Thousands of illegals are stopped, searched and processed every day. According to the Border Patrol less that 0.02% possess any fentanyl at all. When COVID closed the borders and all Asylum seekers were turned away, fentanyl seizures in the US quadrupled and deaths doubled. Law enforcement estimates that almost all fentanyl is smuggled across the border by US citizens; 90% is found at legal crossing points or interior check points. US citizens are also 97% less likely to be searched at legal points so they make the best smugglers.

I suspect I will end up being the tiger in the parable of The Lion, The Tiger, and The Donkey.
