Beyond our measly population numbers, we live in a sheltered rural cultural environment with practically zero diversity that simply doesn't reflect the daily experience of most Americans.

For someone with the handle "tourist", I would assume that you would understand that exposure to different cultures and ways of life not only opens your mind and broadens your perspective, but also quite literally makes you a more empathetic and articulate individual.

Montana is my home and will always have a piece of my heart, but the best thing I ever did was choose to leave it and take in the world around me. I've found that those who have not left and have not traveled both our country and the world have a much more closed off, xenophobic perspective in general.

You are right about one thing, I have travelled around the country while working, many years, hence the username 'tourist.' I was amused by Bidens old comments about having to have a slight Indian accent to work in a 7 - 11. Ran into that in the Phoenix area. If you want to hear it the Indiian accent get Straight Talk for your telephone/I-pad provider. They have off-shored their 'customer service' to India. Of course, they 'speak English.' :lol: While in the Puget Sound area, I went for a walk one night at lunchtime. My co-workers mouths dropped open when I told them. "You could have gotten shot!" was their reply. Not by roving gangs of white kids either. I have experienced 'different cultures and ways of life' up close and personal. You are conflating things. Mail in ballots are sent to all registered voters in the states you are complaining about. In order to register in these states “you have to prove who you are when you sign up” also. So there’s that. Please explain how mail in voting is any different in inviting fraud then absentee voting is?

i signed up by mail recently. i had to give my passport, a recent w-2 form with my ssn, and proof of residency. that seems a little like proving who i am. fallible, for sure, but it wouldn't be the easiest system to manipulate on the level one would need to change voting results.
