Congrats & best wishes to Robin. But the next coach of the Fisty bunch when Jerome walks away, if they opted for an internal hire, is more likely to be Andy Thompson. If Jerome hangs in for a few years & Aaron is successful, he moves into that conversation.

He’s effectively been blackballed, as it says here. And no, it isn’t right, but it is what it is. Had Aaron not already been on the staff, he’d still be out there without a job that suited his abilities.

Thank you for that article. I always liked NAU, especially the coaching staff. However this puts it over the top. So many Griz on that staff and getting Pflu onto a D1 staff again makes my heart happy. He was treated like absolute garbage by the then “president” of Montana. It still irks me that Rolls Royce was able to retain his cushy tenured job while he ruined a school, football team, and Robin Pflugrad. Nothing short of disgraceful.

Robin Pflugrad is an excellent coach. You guys are lucky to have him and I, for one, am thankful you hired him. It helps right a wrong.
