Searching for a Coach (1)
SE Louisiana (6-5) Decent overall record, but quit to take and FBS DC job.

I'm still a bit surprised that there have not been more FCS head coaches hitting the road.

It has not yet been confirmed, so I have not changed the list, but rumors have it that SE Louisiana has found its new coach:

Meanwhile, Delaware State is still looking ... and the natives are getting restless (to say the least):

Dominique Drewery said:
… The football program has obviously been unproductive, but all the blame could not be placed on [former] Coach Carter. The athletic department has also played a part in the failure of the football program and continues to fall short of correcting its mistakes. The interim athletic director, Mary Hill, and the athletic department owe it to the football players and to other student athletes to become the foundation of stability.
After two months, the athletic department doesn’t have a permanent athletic director nor a head coach to lead the football program. For any athletic program to be coach-less for two months is unacceptable.

Delaware State finally pulled the trigger ... and it looks like a damn good hire.

Guy knows D-State (played for them back when they were good) and has NFL cred (including Super Bowl). That cred may be at important as what he brings in X's and O's. Sure, it was way back (before his likely recruits were born), but he's still young enough to relate to them (and their parents).
