Let me make this as clear as possible for you. We got Capser who's a year ahead of Kautzmann, therefore we don't need another kicker despite how badly Kautzmann wants to come here.

This guy I think was a 1 and done at Juco so he will only be a sophmore. I don't think we are actively trying to fill a hole in our defense, instead just trying to build extra depth to a position that is also utilized heavily on special teams.

His name was Jack Cooper. He walked on at Ole Miss and was redshirted. Transferred to a Juco in California and then walked on at Montana. Kicked in the two spring games and was pulled before halftime against Portland State. Currently sitting in the Transfer Portal and doesn’t look like he’s been picked up. Kicking style is more of a line drive and left him susceptible to ball being batted down. Very low accuracy too and missed easy extra point against PS. Rumor floating around of issue with coaches as well. No idea if true.
