I liked hiring Bobby Hauck back but he has certain behavior characteristics that hamper him. He is too loyal to who he has on staff and has a stubborn streak that keeps him from benching players deserving to be benched.

Yep but when your line and receivers block and execute the scheme as well as MSU’s do, it can be wildly successful. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a scheme executed well enough on defense to stop it. We didn’t execute whatever scheme we had planned on offense either. Good for them. Sucks we most likely have to wait a year to get another shot. We probably need it after seeing how far off we were today.

The truth is, if the players don’t vote for a certain player, the coaches can intercede and give any player they want the captain position. It has happened before.
