You should listen to Gregorak Talk about NIL/Transfer

Everyone should listen to him discuss and diss on NIL. On Colter's Skyline. Very interesting.

Thinks many players are making mistakes. Used an example of Ifanse. Could have stayed at MSU and become the all-time leading rusher at MSU and been the dude in the area. He and Colter discussed how players who are dudes in communities like Bozeman and Missoula are giving up being dudes for life in those communities.

Is FCS becoming a stopping off place for young players to see what they can do and develop, and then move on and up? Who will there best friends be? Where will they tell people they went to college? He and Colter don't have a problem with grad transfers.

He thinks players who leave to move up are quitting on their team, the school that gave them a chance.

How many college players are making more than Brock Purdy this year?

How many NFL players are not making as much as Livvy Dunne?

No shit. Coaches have been doing it for years.

Now all of a sudden the players are the bad guys. Look, everyone thinks the portal is broken. But I hope we don't return to the days of players as indentured servants because of a decision they made when they were (maybe) 17 years old.

As for "being the guy", not everyone desires that. Some desire the opportunity to test themselves against the best, in places like Austin or Lincoln or LA. Can't fault em for that. In fact, I'd argue the GRIZ athletic department should take note and do likewise.

“Hey! They shouldn’t be able to leave!”
“Oh, looks like a better coaching job came up. Peace out.”
