After a quick scan the only exgriz I saw was JR Nelson.

Who else do you guys wish was in this pool?
Didn’t notice any bobcats, but there were quite a few Vandals.

This league will make it at least through this year, the AAF was doing fine until one of the investors tried playing hardball with the nfl, but he only had a wiffle ball bat and they told him to pound sand.

And the guy bankrolling it -- Vince McMahon -- knows a bit about spectator sports, TV deals, etc. In case you missed it, his big money pot is the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc.). So far, he seems to have made some very good decisions: they'll keep it small with teams actually owned by the league itself, they will not ever go head-to-head against the NFL season,* and they are testing various rules to speed up play and cut dead time.

* They will be competing with the NBA, but the last schedule I saw ended before the NBA playoffs really heat up.

MAJOR dumb move. Still can't figure out what the guy thought he was doing. McMahon is way smarter ... he may still fail, but it probably won't be for stupid moves like that.

I felt bad for the other major investors in the AAF. If they could have played it out until 2021, there was a real chance to get looped in in the collective bargaining and be a developmental league for the NFL.

The last time they tried the XFL it was okay. The game that is, all WWE stupid side stuff is what killed it.

He’s not making that mistake again. I’m gonna watch it. Heck, Dallas is only a couple hours away from where I live now, not in Sin City anymore. I can go hog hunting, oh wait, I am too far from Bozeman for that  then drive on to Dallas and catch a Dallas Renegades game.

I wouldn’t mind seeing a few Griz players on the field again.

The stories I saw were that that investor just wanted the betting technology the AAF had built. He bought up a majority stake then didn't pay the Bill's and let the league collapse so he could walk away with the tech and not have to pay to run a league. Just a real vulture ahole move.

We could do a series of pieces on why the AAF, WLAF, XFL, USFL, WFL, and CFL expansion all failed, there would by many different reasons but only one theme. I don't see XFL 2.0 being any different.
