Wyoming has a countdown of the # of tickets left for our game on August 30th.

:thumb: showing only 600 now. Section A is sold out, so had to get B, but plenty remaining in B, next to A section, where i was told the Griz Nation would Be.

Now this is interesting... it looks like some Wyoming fans are expecting attendance for the game to top over 25k. I took a look at Wyoming's attendance for the last three seasons, and ouch... We will be the 2nd-highest attended game at Wyoming in three years behind the top-attended game against then-ranked #9 Nebraska, that is if getting over 25k is expected for this game.

It's weird how the last game drops off so much and is the lowest attended of the year. Fans lose interest/hope after bad seasons, I guess, or are those during the holidays or something?

Those last two games of the last three seasons are both the weekend(s) before Thanksgiving week. I would assume that the drastic drop in attendance is probably due to bad seasons.

Please get your tickets through UM; in the deal with Wyoming, we keep all the revenue from our allotment. Not sure whether that allotment is sold out yet; I have my four to pick up at will call.

Attendance drops off late in the year because of hunting, the weather (you can't hardly get to Laramie in November/December), and umm.. usually nothing to play for. Not sure where you're reading we think there will be 25K at the game.. I'd say 20K is about right.

ehhhh.. we'll see what student attendance is like. Unless BYU or Boise is in town, or a Big12 type team (like Texas or Nebraska), it's hard to sell that place out.
