Just curious what people’s thoughts are on a hypothetical.

Would you rather have lost to UW and beaten EWU and be guaranteed at least a share of the Big Sky Title?

Or

Be in our current position, with a historic win over UW and a tough but close loss to EWU, and have our current odds of winning a share of the Big Sky (UCD appears to have the path of least resistance to a title as of now)?

No question. Option A. I HATE EWU's shitty meth-addled fanbase having bragging rights for the next two years.

There's always a chance for a rematch. :thumb:

Yeah that would be a good kicker for option B! There is a quarterfinal rematch at Wa Griz :thumb:

The UW win was not only a great memory but got the university and program hundreds of thousands of dollars in free media impressions in PR - on top of the bag that was waiting for us from UW.

A setback like this is long a mainstay in a championship run.

We can still share the conference title. This season has just started and weber, msu, ewu, still get to beat up on each other and maybe with any luck UC Davis burps or ewu gets beat and then beats uc davis. There is a long way to go but we need to take care of our own business from week to week. Hopefully we can get rested and healed up a bit and put ewu behind us for now.

I like right where we are. It's going to be a good season. Our best teams took one on the chin along the way and it seemed to make them better.

Beating the Huskies is better. UW won’t schedule the Griz again for decades, if ever. WSU quit playing UM after the the Griz played them tough a few times in the 1990’s.

The EWU contest was a great game, a battle to the end, and the Griz will be motivated to take them on again. And UM will have the chance to play EWU again because it has been ordained.

You shoulda put up a poll my guess is Cats Suck would win the poll. Publicity of beating UW is better cuz when we win out we will still be National champs BUT i will say I would rather be National champ than beat UW

Win the National title and they have no bragging rights
