Wonder what smoke/practice contingency plan is?

Looks like the smoke from the many fires is likely to impact Missoula very significantly this month.

Lots of smoke, and lots of fires in the general vicinity. See link to MT fire map.

Unfortunataley, (Unfortunately for those of you who didn't attend state ag), "fire season" has been an all too consistenis (again, for those if you who didn't attend the flagship univeristy in Montana - consistent) feature of summers in the western part of the 406. It's a heslth (you know...) hazard that these kids and coaches shouldn't be expected to have to endure.

I'm guessing they could move to the Gallatin, given there isn't anything going on there currently.

Nevermind, the lead paint-laden seating area & toxic pond in the vicinity of the misaligned field is likely just as bad. Although they did replace the rug, so there's that.

I am going to assume you have no contingency plan and your performance has not suffered from the smoke.

The Lolo Peak fire, southwest of Missoula, blew up a couple days ago. Big fire, big smoke, new evacuations. Over 15,000 acres. Made a 4 miles run in one area overnight on Wed. So far, the wind has not been blowing much of the smoke into central Missoula. Here's an article with a photo of the fire/flames. Flames visible from central Missoula at times.

I live on the South Hill and the smoke has been terrible up there from the Lolo Peak fire. Ugh.
