Women Up

Missed this game due to work. Hope Madi is going to be okay. One of the better rebounders on the team. Somebody will have to pick up the slack regarding rebounds. After 4 games, Madi is the best rebounder on the team with 7.8 rebounds a game.

Nice to see another freshman come through. Keller scoring 17 points.

Recruited Thurman for her 3 point shooting. So far, she has come through this year so far. Shooting 43.8% through 4 games.
 
Mike Petrino said on the post-game show that Madi had a pretty serious ankle or high ankle injury. Here's hoping Madi can be back in time for the start of conference.
 
Seems like it's been a long time since Montana WBB has had this kind of perimeter fire power. Love it.

What a coming out party for Keller. Griz are in good shape at point with her for years. She is quick, poised, and doesn’t play like a freshman on offense or defense. Great pick up there.

Another great pick up is Thurmon. Girl can hit the 3 ball and has a good looking shot.

Man they are young and pretty sloppy with turnovers at times (bad passing, bad hands, letting defenders tie them up too easily, etc) but they balance that out with grit and tenacity.

I see a lot of improvements already and this team is only scratching the surface.
