Congratulations on your win over BSU tonight!

I watched you all on TV playing Minnesota, and Virginia Tech. Looks to me that you all play kind of a slow down post up kind of game, is that fair to say?

I was curious to read your thoughts on the upcoming game with WKU. How many do you expect in attendance?



PS- I saw your football stadium on TV once and from what I could see it is simply THE MOST BEAUTIFUL football stadium I have ever seen.

A little university in Bowling Green, KY that already beat Georgia and UAB this year. They've got the big red blob for a mascot, apparently that's what a Hilltopper is.

(I'm assuming that Mslacat is aware of this, so there's some thick sarcasm here.)

For those who may not know a whole lot about WKU (Yes you voters who picked Montana by 20+), they get up and down the court and put a lot of pressure on the ball. They are very athletic and talented and Montana could very well struggle with this team.

They've been on the verge of the top 25 in college basketball the last few years. A very solid mid-major program.

WKU by 10-15 if not more. It won't be pretty, these boys have been good for more than a little while.

I would like to think that UM would win as a fan of the griz, but if i were to objectively decide based on tradition and so far how this season is going, i would say we are in for a 10 point loss.

I'm thinking about 4,000 at this game. If people weren't so caught up on football, there would be probably 6,000 or more. UM doesn't like advertising for basketball though.


I'm hoping this will be our breakout game. I feel like were in a season long lull and just need to wake up. Good luck to you WKU, but i don't think you'll need it.

Its a little known fact that Big Red is supposed to be the embodiment of WKU school spirit.

My first semester at WKU I scheduled a 9:15 class at Tate Page (the bottom of the hill) and a 10:30 class at Thompson (the top of the hill). That gave me 15 minutes between the two.

I found out what a hilltopper was pretty quick that year.

I have a lot of respect for your football team. Like I said I love your stadium, although I can't imagine how you all stand the cold.

Well, I've watched us play 6 of our games and I have seen you all on TV twice and I like our chances. But if you guys win I will be sure to come on here and eat some crow. :twocents:
