I was cheering when they did well (for the players sake) but have no delusions this staff should be retained. Still can’t figure out how was 3rd biggest crowd, there were a lot of empty seats? Are they just going on paid for seats as attendance?

I think they have to go by tickets sold, but when I said that in real time, the person next to me said that they announced it as people in the stadium, which implies scanned tickets.

It didn't feel packed in there. The Butler game felt like there were more people in the beer garden and concourses, and obviously there were a lot of empty seats. I know the rain forecast discouraged a lot of people. I don't know how that could be the third highest attendance, but maybe there were more people hanging out in boxes with the weather.

In the second half we had a more creative blocking scheme and used screens I haven't seen in two years. I was really happy about that. That is my silver lining.

Teams don't drop back long enough for our pressure to get there, they have learned that quick releases are a killer for us. We have adjusted to some shallow coverages, and seem to be bringing less guys on the blitz as regularly. That seems like we are making smart changes.
