No question strong athletics (especially football ensures a strong enrollment!! Royce Engstrom killed Montana! His desire to be the largest international college in the west was a catastrophe. He brought in ton's of middle east students that disrespected our western culture and women and basically destroyed Montana's aura! Engstrom's departure is the best thing to happen to UM! Seth Bodnar and Bobby Hauck are the best thing to happen to Montana in decades!!! We will be "GREAT" again and I am very optimistic it will be soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Griz!

What this individual is complaining about is exactly what makes Montana great! This is exactly why a small town (Class B) coach who "obviously never played the game" has a kid from two small Montana schools on his list. I'm willing to bet there's another Reynolds or Mariani running back and if memory serves me a kid who played for Hardin (Hardin????) defensive player or an overlooked Butte kid like Anderson about to show what people in this state can accomplish if provided an opportunity.

There's a reason this place still takes all those seeking refuge and gives them a chance to prove their abilities. I'm glad somebody like "eye" is not in my "circle of influence."

I think UM needs an OT degree-both undergrad and graduate. Maybe even a PA school. I'm not sure Missoula can handle a full blown med school, but advanced medical degrees would be a HUGE plus for UM. We already have PT, pharm, ST, and very good pre-med degrees.

If Montana were to pop for a med school, my bet would be in Billings with the huge hospital infrastructure already in place, and both Rocky and MSUB close by. Hard to see why it would be a slam-dunk for Missoula.
