Hauck will now receive a $75,000 bonus instead of $15,000 for playing an FBS school. His potential $10,000 bonus for beating an FBS team has been removed,

I almost wonder if that’s a typo. That seems like a lot of money for winning an FBS game. Put it this way, he gets more for playing an FBS opponent than winning the national championship. That doesn’t seem right.

Maybe because the AD doesn't receive $675,000 for winning a NC. The HC gets a share of the booty so he's on board with scheduling FBS games. BH hasn't been keen on them in the past.

That's a fact.

It also explains some of what Haslam meant when he said that scheduling a $300,000 FBS game wasn't really worth $300,000 to the program. Take $75,000 off the top.


Any way you look at it though Saturday was a good good day for Griz Nation. I hope it translates to some NIL $ for the guys who work so hard to make us all feel happy.
