Willy Pflug for President tshirts...

I was wondering about this after watching the UM-NDSU game. That had to have been planned. No way ESPN randomly drops a mike on the sidelines and allows a player to pipe in mid-broadcast.

I'm going with the theory that this was a case of guerrilla marketing. The Cal Poly fan forum had a discussion about this as well.

Am I right? Wrong? Inquiring minds want to know.
 
It's really not that hard to believe this happened.. hot mic, opportunistic student, national TV. It's much harder to believe there was some sort of conspiracy involving ESPN & UM.
 
If anyone says it can't possibly have been spontaneous then they must also prove it was planned. Go ahead with that. I'll wait. Anything else is pure speculation of the same calibre that the moon landing was faked. All you have to do is prove it and then everyone will believe too...
