Why not have WGS host the NAIA Championship

As I sit watching the Carroll College game in front of a sparse crowd, I was thinking how nice it would be to have that game played in Washington-Grizzly Stadium. Considering a western team has played in the Championship every year since 1997 (either Carroll or Sioux Falls since 2001), it doesn't seem far fetched. Montana has six NAIA teams (both Carroll and Montana Tech are pretty good). And, with the new lights, they could make it a night game. We couldn't get the FCS championship a couple years ago, but some facility improvements have been made and the NAIA surely isn't as strict anyway. Why not reward the region's success by not making them travel 2000 miles every time they make it too a championship. Just a thought. What does everyone else think?

Sounds like a winner to me, but don't expect it to happen. The south seems to have a lock on the championship games: Div. II in Florence, Alabama; NAIA in Rome, Georgia; FCS in Chattanooga/Frisco. We've been to Rome, and that stadium is okay, but nothing special.

Schedule conflict is too likely....UM could have been hosting a playoff game today.

^.......Not a problem. Seven days to a week last I checked. I would suggest one game on Friday, the other on Saturday.

I'll leave rocket science stuff to the ag engineers.
