So...Who do you think will win Saturday's game, and why? This isn't meant to start any smack.. I'm just curious to see who people think will win, and why :)

I am hoping it is by 6 or more or else I am writing some checks to our Blue and Gold counter parts. A win by 10+ would be just fine with me.

I vote for other because the griz will win by 30

Cats arent playing up to their potential

So that would probably fit in "10 or more"...? ;)

I'm nervous about this game, the cats beat ISU and Weber pretty good. The Brick will probably be sold out, and I'm sure the cat fans will still be venemous from the football game. It really could go either way. Without Chavez the Grizzly D takes a hit. With Matt Martin hopefully back at starting PG, I see better ball control and movement (and yes, more ill advised shots too).

The advantage for the Griz, is Strait, from what I've read and heard, the cats can be beat underneath, I expect a huge game from Andrew, and he'd better be ready to shoot freethrows b/c I'll be the cats would rather have him shooting from the charity stripe than underneath.

Dlhouy will probably get more time to help defend the cats outside shooting.

The advantage for the cats will also be inside opportunities, while Stait plays decent defense Hasquet has seemed a little "lost" as of recently. With the Griz, it seems the game is won and lost, in the paint. The cats need 2nd opportunity shots, and good scoring underneath. I say a close game, Griz win it on a Criswell last second shot.

The Griz are better, but this will be a real test on the road. But I think they're too good to let it slip away. Griz by 5.

I disagree, It will not be a sellout because the students are not back. They could barely get 3000 to a game when we have 5500. Not may Missoul apeople want to go to Bozeone. We have them beat big time in terms of depth. They are real weak at point and Krysko will exploit that with major Defensive pressure wearing Durham Jr and the freshman down. We will have at least 4 guys in double figures. I have also not seen anything official saying Chavez is out.

I voted Griz by less than 10. I think it'll be another close one. The cats are playing much better than they were at the beginning of the season it sounds like.

Ja'Ron Jefferson for the cats has to be one of the focus points for the Griz I imagine. He's had a pretty good year so far this year, and as we all know, is definitely a scoring threat.

I wonder how the Cats will be though with only one experienced point guard out there though (Casey Durham). Durham is a good defender but seems to be struggling this year with his shot. He did really frustrate Martin last year in Bozeman with his tight defense (borderline fouling almost every time, which there is nothing wrong with really if its working). I wonder how Durham will handle guarding Bryan Ellis out there though and Matthews when Matthews is playing the point..

While the matchups underneath with Beye, Moss for the cats and Strait, Hasquet and Chavez (hopefully) for the Griz will be big ones.. the guard matchups will be a lot of fun to watch too.

Anyway...wish it was Saturday already :) Can't wait to watch this game.

hmm.....

Well, this is going to be a close one, and a fun one, but I'm picking Cats by 6. Sorry, they're my team. I think the Cats have clicked and will bring everything to the court, but the Grizzlies are damn good. It won't be like last year's game in Bozeman. But I think homecourt has a lot to do with it here, and the Griz have won only 2 or 3 times in their last 10 trips to Bozeman. (Check if that's right, if you can) I'm picking my Bobcats.
