I did not realize Griz have 4 games in a week span. That is not the best scheduling. But like everett pointed out, Griz can actually afford to lose one prior to Feb 28

Weber could lose all five as well and then it's a meaningless conversation.

But okay, if you wanna hang your hat on ISU losing all five remaining and UNC winning at least 4 then by all means, please, be my guest....

I just prefer to deal in probabilities greater than, you know, being killed by falling space junk.

good grief Everett you act like ISU is Baylor or something. You look at ISU's remaining probabilities (16%,30%'s etc) & compare them to Weber's (80%'s & 90%'s). Sac is playing good ball right now & if they somehow beat UM i will not be surprised if they pass ISU in the standings. NoCo looked pretty tough in the 2nd half against us as well.

i certainly don't think isu is baylor. but i will bet you any stakes you name that 1.) isu won't lose 4 or 5 out of their next 5.....and 2.) unc won't win 4 out of their next 5. please let me know if you're interested in this bet. 8-)

Why do you include weber's odds of winning? The entire assumption is already predicated on weebs winning every game except the UM game. If weebs loses to someone other than Montana, who the eff cares about the isu loss??

As for Sac, they are 3 games plus a tie-break behind ISU with 5 to play (so they're 4 games back, because ties would got to ISU). Consequently, PSU would have to win out, and ISU would have to lose out. Do you REALLY think that's going to happen??

But as I said, my hunch is is that UM beats UNC on Thursday and none of this matters.

As for whether or not ISU is Baylor, I'll defer to Coach Rahe for his opinion. He got a pretty good luck at them a few weeks back...

I have not seen Weber play this year, but I think the Cats might be able to pull an upset at home, and help us out. We have our destiny in our own hands if we win out, which is a very good possibility.
