This is just dumb. Britt has potential, but he hasn't done anything to justify all this. When he's been in playing against opponent's starters, he hasn't pulled off any miracles or played well enough to deserve to elevated above Johnson (assuming Johnson is healthy, which is what the OP originally posited). If Johnson is anywhere near 100%, you play him. All this "start Britt" stuff seems to be coming out of some weird desire some people have for the Griz to have its own "Touchdown Tommy."

It’s the “backup is better than the starter” fallacy

No it doesn’t. The kid passes the eye test. He’s quick and smart. Blah, blah, blah, opponent’s starters! Johnson is not healthy. Anyone can see he wasn’t himself yesterday. Britt will start and help win this game next week.

Johnsons playing days are over , you could see it in his eyes....you need another commander with fire
to spark the soldiers to victory and that's Britt...you cant do it with a wounded comrade! Somewhere
down the line they had to put in Super Dave...Britts got a quick release something Mellot does'nt have...
win or lose you have to go for it....playing it safe does'nt win big games!

Depends on your definition of healthy. I’m wondering if he was totally healthy against the kitties. Was good to go, but was he healthy. That injury on the slide wasn’t much.

Assuming all QBs are healthy, who should Bobby start at QB?

Shouldn't assume anything
Should deal with what is and from my eyes LJ wasn't 100% against Scats and he probably won't be next Saturday. Let's see what we got in Britt.

I don’t think it is just about the physical ability of whoever is behind the center, but instead the confidence of the rest of the team and support for who is taking the snaps. The rest of the offense needs to have the energy and trust for its signal caller. I saw it when Brown was back there versus Johnson. And then the energy and posture shifted when Britt got the call. I believe we will see Britt on Saturday.

He’s “Sunshine”, and if what he’s flashed is for real, I’d take him over TT in a heartbeat. We don’t want our own TT, we want a QB that can succeed in this offense…well, what we REALLY want is a different offense, but it is what it is.
