Who is traveling to Weber State?

Wondering who is coming down for the WSU game? I live in SLC and need a little break from the usual silly Utes games. I met some of you at the James Madison game a few years ago and wouldn't mind meeting up again. I haven't purchased tickets yet and was wondering where people are at in the stadium and where the tailgates will be.

Thanks!

We went four years ago, when the Griz lost to Weber in a monsoon. Wet and cold, and search though we might, there was not a cup of hot coffee to be found in the entire stadium -- oh, I know, the Mormons ... but I thought they might have some java for us Montana Norwegians.

Jon, Connie, Tom, Gina, and Kody! Boise caravan on Sat. morning!! We support the Griz through thick and thin, sickness and health, rich or poor, everafter,AMEN!!!!! GO GRIZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tailgates? hahahaha Oh, wait, normal football games have those things. I've gone the last few times the Griz played and there is NO one tailgating. Not sure if Weber says no officially but no one is into it.

That said there is usually a good crowd of Griz fans in the stands. Tickets won't be a problem. It is like a high school football field.

From what I've found if you have plastic cups the cops won't hassle you about drinking. At least what I found from searching online. Also I'm going with a WSU alum and she said the same thing. Just use a different cup and no cans or bottles.

BYU on the other hand...

I live in SLC as well and will be going. I have been to the last 3 games at Weber and we have tailgated at each one with beercans and bottles and have had no issues. Only issue is nobathrooms in that area. There is typically several hundred tailgating.

If there was any road game I would like go to it would be Weber, and I would try to sit somewhere where I could take pics of their cheerleaders!!!

Last time I looked, its supposed to be mid-60s/sunny. No need for hot java, or whatever. Put your booze in a flask, break down and buy your mix. Plenty of room to roam. I prefer the east side, up high. Sunny and warm, nice view of the Salt Lake valley, plenty of air traffic with SLC and Hill AFB nearby, just in case whats going on down on the field sucks, which I think it will. Bathrooms are also top of the stands, mid=field. For you cheerleader fans, they are there. Getting there is easier than those internet site lefts and rights, here and there. Well marked on I-15, exit where it says WSU, take a left and stay on that road until you have climbed until you can't see any more major intersections uphill ahead of you, then right until you see the main campus entrance on the left. Then bear left around the north end of the campus until you are within comfortable walking distance. Five minute walk, your in, right next to the Griz section. Grab some ribbon fries, something to drink, sit back and enjoy the day. OR, stay home, watch it on TV. Bathroom nearby, snacks at hand, no driving.
