The best thing about Grand Forks used to be the Cabela's, except it's actually in East Grand Forks, across the river in Minnesota, so that barely even counts. Plus, there's one in Billings now. So, the best thing about Grand Forks now is.....uh..... :?:

Seeing it in the rear view mirror? :thumb:

You too dabble in the vision quest? I shall tell the PO that you need to go to NODAK for religious purposes..
Go with the undercover cop angle, picture Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte in 48 hours.

Great game day grub; pickled herring and lefse washed down with Grain Belt (4.5 % alcohol)...well, maybe not great - good.

We will be there. Staying at the Canad Inn, next door to the Alerus Center. Playmaker's is a good joint to have a beer(s) before the game. The game itself should be good. Grand Forks reminds me of Great Falls. Taking the Hi-Line all the way.

Buddy of mine owns the Ford dealership in Stanley, ND., a hours drive until lately. Takes him 2 hrs now. Just a heads up, might want to give yourself some time. Travel safe.

Oh, and the wife got that Friday off, we're in. 8-)

Actually, Stanley is about 250 miles west of Grand Forks, so unless you have a plane it will take more than an hour.
