After the Griz announced the signing of Stewart, Jamar and Wood, and Taylor was transferring, I was told that the Griz were still looking at signing one more guard. My first thought was that this was just left over rumors from Stewart and Wood, but after doing some checking. i am quite sure the Griz are looking to sign a 6-0ish JC combo guard. I know they are still interested in Chris McHery who was passed over by Northridge, and I hear they are looking to get one or two more JC's. It appears they are looking at quick athletic guards who can play the point but are also strong scores.
Must admit I really thought the returnees at guards were going to be a strength for the Griz next year with Cherry, Taylor, Young, and Stockton returning Autry and Jamar signed in the fall, I thought all you really needed was to sign one pretty good JC and you could develop a top notch rotation. Now it looks like you will have three JC's, Taylor is gone and one other player (Stockton / Young) who is leaving. But who?
