I know Colt is a not a Griz recruit, but this thread goes to a a few off topic conversation /posts in the "Woods, Cherry, and Hutchison" thread about Andy Garland, ....

.... and in my opinion the seeming willingness of Montana D-1 head coaches (an this goes well beyond Tinkle and Huse) to chances on out of state recruits over instate recruits. Anyway I was very happy to see Huse will into take a chance on a Montana kid who was not getting the national pub. I think Colt is going to be a very nice player for the Cats

By the way wait until next year! There are quite a few juniors in the state who are on the Cats and Griz radar big time. The Montana recruiting wars will return next year.

Both very good articles and Huse is excited about Colt coming and giving things a shot at MSU. However, I think its a sad thing that this kid reached out to the Griz staff more than once and they pretty much just gave him the Heisman. I see Garland is having a great year as a Frosh for Carroll he is a kid I thought deserved a chance as well.

Great for Colt and Huse..I sincerely hope it works out well for them and he gets to play in the BSC.
on a lighter note from reading the articles...broken back, collar bone and shin splints....
He might be more beat up then his old man.. ;)
