lou isnt it interesting how the zags barely won their tourny games at home against a less than average conference. lets not forget that they average about twenty more free throws a game. i watched every single one of them and the only way they won that game was with the free throws.

It's not interesting to me that they barely won some of their games in the conference. What is interesting to me is how they never lost in conference. I think it is hillarious how everyone thinks it is so horrible for them to win by a small margin. I just think it is great how they win, I don't really care how many they win by as long as they win. As far as the free throws, they are one of the best free throw shooting teams of all time. It isn't their fault that they are more aggressive inside and get to the line more than the other teams. I get so sick of hearing how they get all the calls at home. They average about 23 free throws at home and over 20 on the road. So they obviously don't get favored by the refs at home. They are just a superior team. Drop it.

On Sportscenter they're talking about how Tenn is slumping, lost 3 of their last 4 and are "backing in" to the NCAAs.

The only team on the list in this poll we stand a good chance against would be one that's slumping.

Losing to Kentucky, Arkansas, and USC by 2, 4 and 8 is hardly "slumping" in my book. The Griz don't have near the talent as any of those teams.

Bring on the Zags. They are over-rated. They would be the best match-up we could hope for. We would atleast do as well as LMU did.....

Agree with Maroon. Kentucky and Arkansas have both given themselves a great shot to be in the tourney. They have really stepped it up in the past couple of weeks. Tennessee has slumped about the same way Duke has and I sure as hell don't want to play Duke.

UM-Gonzaga in the first round? I'd be very surprised. The NCAA is exceedingly "product-conscious" when it comes to the Big (Money) Dance. Big names are a big part of the product equation ... and what two bigger names this year (since Bird-Johnson?) than Morrison and Reddick. The NCAA will wanna keep those two names around as long as possible ... so expect Gonzaga at a 2 seed opposite a patsy #15 . I don't think the committee will see Montana in that light.

Same for Duke ... although you can make the case that whatever their seed, it is legit.

Whatever, I won't be surprised to see Duke and Gonzage in the same region, the bracket gerrymandered to increase the probability of a Duke-Gonzaga match up along the way. Imagine the money!

I would love to see Morrison get punk'd by the Griz

I'm sure that would happen.

Guy called in on radio show and thought it very important that Montana schedule Gonzaga. Coach Larry told him to stick to his work and Larry would handle the scheduling. He said playing Gonzaga had lost its lustre and if he wanted to get tail kicked he would rather schedule Duke or ..... That was before Gonzaga was 40 wins in a row in Spokane. I assume the committee is paying attention. UCLA would be ok but PAC 10 appears miserable.
