Which EGRIZer is coming the farthest for the game?

Just wondering which of us EGRIZers is coming from the farthest, most remote location for home games? (Not counting fans traveling for visiting teams.)

I'm coming from west of the beautiful stop light in Victor Mt. About 40 miles.

Not coming this week but last Friday and 9PM, my roommate and I jumped in the car on a whim and drove all night from Seattle. Got to Mizzou about 5:30AM and had a great time despite the loss. Will be back for Idaho. Go Griz!

The mrs. and I drive to all the games from Washington (about 1.5 hours north of Spokane).

Very good guess Geaux, but Colville is the correct answer. I'll give you an A- for effort and just knowing where in the hell Chewelah is.

I'm travelling from east of Browning so that makes the trip about 220 miles one way. My Bro and I are leaving on sat. morning for the game and going home after the game. Last week and the rest of the games we're staying the weekend. Go Griz!!!!!

Butte here, 120 miles. And it doesn't matter what the weather is like, nothing could keep us away!!

I am in Missoula.

Notes:

Chewelah, they have a great golf course. I loved playing that course back when I was on the team!

they also have a great family ski area. A mixture of skill level runs makes it a great place for all levels to ski. After a long hard day of either activity why not stop in Polanskis Pizza for a bite to eat!!

There, that is my info about Chewelah, how is that for effort!

It's about four miles for me. That's a good hour on foot, but I prefer to drive so I can watch a little football on TV before I leave.

For the people from Colville I have three questions about Chewelah.

1. Is 49 degrees north still running strong

2. Are the Nordlieg and 49er still the only hotels there

3. And is Polanski's Pizza still the best pizza joint west of the Mississippi???????

Sadly I won't be at this game. I was at the NDSU game though. I travled up from Grand Forks (70 miles North of Fargo). The trip wasn't so bad and thank god we didn't get back from Montana until last night. Otherwise I would have had to put up with soooo much sh!t from the ND natives.

Too bad Shaker...did you pull into your driveway with the lights off?

Nah, most of the people in Grand Forks hate NDSU due to the rival school UND being here, but my cousin goes to NDSU and left me a nice little message. I think I'll drive down to Fargo tomorrow and punch him in the back of the head  . Kidding of course. His brother is a die hard Griz fan and told the NDSU'r not to bring a damn thing up.

I'm coming to the game from a vastly distant mindset and far away galaxy (psyche wise) from that which I exited Washington-Grizzly stadium last Saturday. I am re-psyched to see Grizzlies of old reappear and apply some some old fashioned whup ass! Go Griz!
