Where you stand with Boise St?

The Spirit of Boise Balloon Festival at Ann Morrison Park is awesome. A slice of Albuquerque.
Have not done that yet, but its on the list now. Mostly I go down there to mountain bike and check out some live shows. Always liked Boise as a town, and its bigger than people realize. Wish it wasn't such a terrible drive, no matter which way you take.

Let’s get something straight. Every real college town has us lefties. Boise has some lefties that are probably more virulent than most.

I lived in Idaho for 15 years and Boise for the latter 12, got married and divorced, so I can tell you that Boise has its pluses and its issues. It’s HAD a lot of growth that centered on house-flippers… and that jacked up cost of living and traffic and everything else eventually. Boise had, after the Fiesta Bowl win, a ton of growth in the Treasure Valley and a wee bit of stadium growth. Yet that often didn’t sell out the stadium before this year. That’s to say all the growth in Boise hasn’t really helped Boise State (and I’m noticing there isn’t really plans to expand the stadium in Bozeman over 30,000, either). Get over it… all sports are niche.
