Where did “Hauck turned down San Diego job” post go?

It went bye-bye. Start a new one if you wish, especially if you have something more than speculation. :thumb:

I have never seen a group of people work harder to make sure the slowest time of year on the board gets even slower.

I really don’t think Kent Haslam was “speculating” when he shared that info with the GSA. I trust Kent and highly doubt he would be anything less than truthful. Why don’t you?

Was he offered a job or did they just reach out to him? Didn't see the documentation. Was he offered 5 times the salary that some were saying? Didn't see the documentation. Anyway that's not the reason it was removed.

Is it a rule to post documentation?

Better get to deleting just about every friggin thread on here if it is.

Like I said, that's not why it was deleted.

It turned into a pissing match over politics that had nothing to do with the thread subject or football. If I wanted to hear about politics i would turn on the news not go to egriz

Or FB, most tv shows, some movies, talk shows or really any time you turn your tv on. Any corner store, grocery store, hardware store, or most any store period. Church, no matter which religion you are. Walking around town period. Work or any family gathering. Really, eGriz is one of the few places where politics is mostly kept out of. Some body has a really tuff job of keeping that way though.

I guess I missed the comments about politics. Doesn’t change the fact the AD told GSA members that Hauck recently turned down a lucrative job offer from his previous employer and instead chose to remain at UM. Seems to me that Griz fans on a chat-board about UM football might find that interesting. I could be wrong. But I’m not wrong that the AD told GSA members that Hauck recently turned down a lucrative job offer from his previous employer and instead chose to remain at UM.

Offers are often made orally, especially in situations like this. They are just as valid as written offers. Contracts and documentation for a hiring or transaction are usually written up after an offer has been accepted, at least preliminarily or subject to written documentation.

Everything said about the offer and basic terms was accurate. None of it was speculation. SDS knew Hauck very well, and didn't need to interview him.

Why was the thread removed?

Thanks PR. It was removed for just cause.
